The Dea Network: Investor Case Study

July 2026

Yesterday I experienced one of The Dea Network’s Investor Case Study Days. Invited to present a macro-overview of the investment opportunity in women’s health to open the session, what followed was honestly inspiring.

A room of impressive and generous women spent the day actively workshopping investment opportunities across the entire commercialisation pipeline. Warmly guided and encouraged to stretch their thinking to explore different avenues to generate meaningful returns, build stronger businesses and create lasting impact, the day left me feeling incredibly optimistic.

Better health outcomes for women requires excellent science, but it also requires investment. Investing in women’s health does not mean lowering the bar on due diligence; it means broadening the lens through which opportunities are assessed.

General awareness about the women’s health gap is increasing and consumer demand for solutions to historically unmet needs is growing. At the same time, women are expected to control a growing share of global investable wealth. Women are not only major healthcare consumers; they are increasingly becoming the allocators of capital.

The commercial, economic and social returns that investment in women’s health is forecast to generate are significant – and with women like the women I met yesterday increasingly directing the flow of capital – I have no doubt the forecasts will become a reality.

Thank you Seri Renkin OAM , Lillian Kline and Madeline Lucas for the invitation to be involved. Thank you also to Sarah Bailey and MECCA Brands and your team for hosting and for the gift bag of treats.
